BASIC PATTERNThis Nawari / Dabke study places Dum on the “and” of beat 1. The Nawari reference opens Tek–Dum; Basic leaves that first Tek silent, while Classic adds light Tek–Ka strokes before Dum. The companion drums leave the opening space so the lead pickup stays clear.
