Fox فوكس

A direct 2/4 rhythm with Dum and Tek alternating on four even eighth notes. Often played briskly in instrumental passages, Fox also supports the Ottoman longa form. [1][2][3]

BASIC PATTERN

Count 1 & 2 &: Dum on each beat, Tek on each “and”. Keep all four strokes evenly spaced. Classic adds a light Ka after each Tek; keep these fills softer than the main strokes.
